The Grampians has a wide range of walking opportunities from easy family walks to full day hikes. If you only have one day try and see Boroka Lookout, Reeds Lookout + the Balconies and MacKenzie Falls. If you still have some time left over, do the hike to the Pinnacle.

4X4 + Mountain Bike Riding
The Grampians has a large road network that allows for some great four-wheel driving and mountain bike riding. The roads and tracks have various grades of difficulty, ensure you seek advice on track conditions and information of the seasonal closure of specific tracks.

Aboriginal Culture
The Grampians mountains were known as Gariwerd to the Djab Wurrung and Jardwadjali people that inhabited the mountains and surrounding plains for the last 22,000years. You can experience this ancient culture by visiting one of five art shelters open to the public in the area.

Wildlife + Wildflowers
The Grampians is the best place to see Eastern-grey Kangaroos up close in the wild. There are 36 species of native mammal, 35 reptiles, 6 native fish + 13 crustaceans. The Grampians is a truly diverse landscape, with over 1000 species of flowering plants, 26 of these species only occur naturally in the Grampians.
